ladder or treadmill

having leapt from the ladder and gotten back on, I'm tempted yet hesitant w/r/t spouting off about finding joy in the utter meaninglessness of life, slacking, and the cultivation of amusement in whatever is going on.

or is that a load of shit?

blah blah blah

suppose I'll get back to work on sanding the upstairs floor while I ponder this.

More to the point of the post - do you find life meaningless? Is there joy in that for you? I completely agree with "cultivation of amusement in whatever is going on". That's the only way to deal with some things, actually.

I don't think there needs to be meaning in everything, but I do think there needs to be some sort of point. Otherwise... why bother? Life is too hard to consider that there's no purpose to the struggle. And if there's such a thing as reincarnation - it'd be even easer to rationalize hitting the reset button.

Fool's Gold or not, I gotta believe that there's some rhyme to all this lack of reason.

With that said - slacking is still a necessity for battery recharge. ;)
